Harcourt and I went away for our long overdue first getaway since Ike was born. Maggie took care of Ike and things around the house while we went off for a quick boat trip. We boarded the Shelter in Hamburg Cove, just up the CT River, and took the nice short cruise to Mystic for the night. We tied up at the Steamboat Inn and enjoyed being tourists and just hanging out.
We just soaked in all that New England has to offer on a cool but sunny October weekend. The photos speak for themselves as far as the NE scenery, it just never gets old to see the sites from the water.
