The boys were Spiderman and a Chili Pepper this year and from the costumes to the candy it was a great afternoon! We went to the Guilford 'Trick or Treat' around the town shops, trick or treating around town, visits with friends and family... oh and feedings & diaper changes in there too :) A good time had by all.
A few Sundays ago, Ike & I packed up Legare and went out for a little picnic to enjoy the warm fall sunshine. Ike asked me if he could bring 'a few things' in his backpack and I said sure. When we opened the bag I was more than surprised to see what all he brought. He had an absolute blast playing with his cars and having a little pb&j :)
Ike went on his first BUS ride and first field trip last week with his class & 2 other classes from school. The trip was to Bishops Apple Orchard for apple picking! It was my last week of maternity leave so I dropped off Legare at Kyle's house and headed for the orchards with my camera in hand. Ike is so lucky to have Mrs. Dantas this year and he is in class with all his good buddies - it was so great to see them all together and behaving so well!
Smiling and cooing! We can't get enough of our little Legare. He is an amazing baby and he is making new expressions and sounds each day. I simply can't imagine how I am going to be able to leave this precious face to go back to work next week. I know I did it before with Ike and survived but I am not looking forward to it.
