Our Tree

We all ventured about a mile from our house today to find our Christmas tree. We were gone for 30 mins round trip- NO JOKE! Ike has a little bug and cranky was his middle name all day so we weren't sure how long he would last. We headed out and about the 5th tree we passed and I said "that one is it!" and they all thought I was joking as usually I have to look at about 100+ before I can confirm a cut. I gave Harcourt the thumbs up, he cut it down, Dean, Dad & Harcourt loaded it onto the car and we headed home with a very beautiful tree!!!

Merry Christmas! We had a great day down here in Charleston and Santa found us at Kelly & Rob's house. It was a princess themed Christmas for Taylor & Lillie - lots of pink dress up clothes! Ike was great and enjoyed playing in the boxes and following his cousins around the house. We head back to CT early tomorrow morning and then to Vermont. Stay tuned for more pics.

Holiday Lunch

What a treat! Today we went out to lunch with a group of my friends from high school: Elizabeth & Sloan, Susanne, Charlotte & Legare, Beth (without Betsy), Vitre and Sarah. It was a little crazy with the kids but good effort by all and so nice to see everyone in one place. Thanks Susanne for coordinating.

Sloan and Ike are just 1 month apart.

Elizabeth and Sloan
