After a few travel tribulations we made it to Vail for our first vacation without Ike. Jimmie and Pepe are holding down the fort at home and Ike reports to me that "I am being a good boy Mommy". The crowd was happy to wake up to 8" of fresh snow yesterday and the skiing was great. Dempsey and I ventured to the Nordic Center in the afternoon to check out some snow shoe trails. We ended the day with an amazing dinner and we are enjoying the great company of good friends!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

The postman delivered us a special Valentine from Ike today and it was VERY exciting. Ike's wonderful teacher, Ms. Barbara, had the class make and mail valentines and the hardest part was keeping the secret :-) I told Ike the mailman came today and left a special surprise so we headed out to the mailbox to find out what it was... open the door and "wow, there is the valentine!" The pictures below pretty much say the rest.... Happy Valentine's Day!
