Today is our 4th Anniversary and Harcourt is away in Newport at a boat show. So, here is a little trip down our memory lane from September 2004.

Oh yes, that is me... spontaneously deciding to serenade Harcourt by singing Patsy Cline's "Crazy"... and yes, I was crazy! But it was fun and memorable!

The honeymoon. We can't wait to do it all over again someday- what a wonderful trip. (don't we look so tan and YOUNG!)

Today my grandparents celebrated an anniversary that very few people attain... Oct. 3, 1937 = 70th anniversary! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! It is truly an amazing thing to celebrate such a wonderful milestone and very few people in our generation will even be able to come close such an event. I have heard the story several times about how they basically snuck away and went over the Tennessee state line into Alabama to get married because my Grandmother was too young (2 weeks shy of 17) to get married in TN. Grandfather was all of 19.

They are both such wonderful people and their energy for life is so impressive!!! They live in their apartment on James Island and they keep themselves VERY busy from day to day. I feel very lucky to have their longevity and youthful genes in my blood!

There was a big celebration for them at Mom and Dad's house tonight that I sadly missed but Aunt Linda made it from Michigan so I know they are all excited.

Today marked our 3 year anniversary! What incredible memories we have from an amazing weekend and it was fun to reminisce. It has been a great three years and now we are a family of three! We are so excited to see what more great things the future has to hold for us. Maggie came over and we went out for a date night to celebrate and to our surprise Mom & Dad and my Grandparents had made arrangements to treat us to dinner! Thanks!!!!

We also had fun reminiscing about our honeymoon and how Hurricane Jeanne put a damper on our plans but we still managed to pull off an amazing trip. Yes, the rub of traveling to the BVI's in September is Hurricane season but those in wedded bliss don't think of these things until they are reality! A quick synopsis- we get to St. Thomas beautiful weather day 1 then we see the "Weather Update" in the lobby of the hotel and that night they came in to put down the hurricane shutters and we rode the storm out inside the hotel for 2+ days. We were a day delayed starting our charter out of Tortola but as you can see the waters calmed and the sun shined once again. Oh what fun!
