The boys were Spiderman and a Chili Pepper this year and from the costumes to the candy it was a great afternoon! We went to the Guilford 'Trick or Treat' around the town shops, trick or treating around town, visits with friends and family... oh and feedings & diaper changes in there too :) A good time had by all.

We had a great Halloween this year! Ike was a 'mommy spider' not to be confused with a potentially not nice spider that he didn't want to be associated with :-) We met our friends on the Green for the annual Trick or Treat around the Green. The weather was warm and breezy and the kids had a ball. Ike and Molly were quite the duo running from store to store to fill their pumpkins. Click here for a full set of the photos.

Sorry for the large post but as I mentioned in my earlier post, Halloween is my new favorite holiday. Ike was a dragon and he loved his costume! We started by meeting our friends for a trick or treat around the shops in town which was very popular this year as it is perfect for the little ones. It was hard to believe that last year Ike was riding around in the same car because he didn't walk yet! We then buckled our dragon into the carseat and went to Kyle & Bings for Ike's first trick or treat (& cocktail for Mom & Dad) and he loved it except he preferred not to put the candy in the pumpkin. Then we went to Harcourt's Aunt's house, the Stockmann's and ended at the Smith's for a driveway campfire! Ike's favorite candy was the "pop pop" aka tootsie pop but he also enjoyed a Butterfinger and said "yum". (note: with no close neighbors we don't get any trick or treaters at our house). We had a great time taking Ike around and he stayed in costume until the bitter end and cried when we took it off at home so it now resides in the toy closet for future fun. We are already looking forward to next year! More pics here.

Halloween was sooo much fun- definitely my new favorite holiday. Tons of chores to do today so can't do a full posting but here are just a few as a tease.

First ever trick or treat was at Boppy & Kyle's house... so I just walk up here with the pumpkin and get candy- cool!Halloween

With Harcourt unfortunately out of town on business, I got Ike suited up in his monkey suit and we went to town in his beep beep car and met up with James, Julie, Hayden & Nola and Whitney, Matt & Molly for the town trick or treat. It is such a cool thing...all the stores on the Green do a trick or treat hour from 5-6 for all the kids which is followed by a very short parade and then everyone goes home to trick or treat. It was perfect for the little kids to get a taste of Halloween! Ike was a little tired but he sat in his car for over an hour (with both hands on the wheel!!) while we toured around town and seemed to love his outfit not even touching the monkey hood.
