Legare's first Easter and our first Easter with 2 kids! We had a busy and fun day with near 70 degree sunshine and warm air that was much needed after a long Spring of blah weather. The morning was foggy and wet so the Easter Bunny did an egg hunt in the house for Ike this morning. Ike was very into the festivities and we all had a great day!

I realize now that I totally spoiled Ike

with a GIGANTIC Easter basket

so I had to duplicate for Legare this year

The morning weather was wet & foggy so the egg hunt was inside.

Like everything, he puts the eggs in his mouth :)

the golf clubs for a little driving range fun, never a dull moment.

Ike and I enjoyed our traditional egg dying project and this year he was so much more careful and into it versus just making a mess. I simply love our 4 1/2 year old little boy!!!!

Holy cow! Time is flying by and Legare is 8 mos old. He is growing and changing before our eyes. He is sitting up and playing with toys which is a step up in the fun department. We made him his own toy chest and he seems happy to finally have an identity in the toy department. Harcourt also caught him pull up at the toy chest (see photo below) - he is getting strong and hard to contain but this pulling up is not yet a regular occurrence but a glimpse into the near future. He is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking back & forth but has yet to really go anywhere except backwards :) When he wants to move and be squirmy, it is a challenge to hold onto him or dress him. He has 4 teeth - 2 bottom and 2 top canines. Thanks to a little recent Ferberizing, he is now sleeping mostly through the night or at least without anything from us except a pat on the head and re-positioning of his baby/binky. His little toothy smile is so precious though I had a difficult time capturing in this series of photos as I was by myself and he was tired after a long day at school. I am really looking forward to the warmer days and getting Legare out and about! Spring is coming, slowly.
