Last day of the holiday weekend. Kerry is 6 days beyond the due date. We went for a nice hike this afternoon at Chatfield Hollow with the Peterson's, Steffen's and Brother Dean. 60 degrees and sunny today. I can't believe it is almost December.
This guy was seen trying to get in on the action.
" Can I get one of those hot dogs?"

Well here is what I am
hoping is the last of the belly shots. 40 weeks. We have alot of things coming to a close this weekend. Tomorrow is the due date. Seems like a long time ago that we were in the BVI's and she was just barely showing. Now all we can do is hope that it is not going to be a turkey baby with us spending thanksgiving at Yale maternity ward. We have Dean coming out to see us on Wednesday for the weekend, and maybe I will make the campout. The plane is getting buttoned up this week. Today we got the spinner (which I polished for 2hrs) and cowling installed. It actually looks like a plane now. With the next post I hope I have something good to report.

This is me getting into the Mike with Kerry already on board for her first trip down the runway. Two days to go until due date, Kerry had no problem getting up into the plane. I think tomorrow it will be time to get all of the bags in the car for final preperation for the hospital trip. More on that tomorrow. In the afternoon we did the final raking of the leaves in the backyard. It was funny to see a pregnant lady with a rake in hand...

To complete Dean's weekend in town he decided to fly the friendly skies with Rick on Sunday- as he said "it was like being in a flying Porsche". Thanks for the ride Rick!
Big news so far is that Kerry is finally off bed rest and getting out and about. Dean got a break from Martha and came to visit us for the weekend. Dean, Kerry and I went for a short hike with the dogs. Perfect fall weather- crisp and clear. On the Mike front, we got the wings on today along with the prop. Won't be long now.
Dean is getting a little help from the Nilla Bean.
