On my way home from the Grocery store tonight I saw this guy sitting by the side of the road at the Mannix Chevrolet dealer. For some stupid reason I decided to stop and someone's pet rabbit came right up to me. Next thing I know he is in the car headed to Podunk. So we now have a temporary guest living in a dog crate in the back hall. One rabbit looking for good home please !!
Ike and his Daddy seem to be in their own world these days. I walked in the house the other day after Harcourt relieved the nanny and this was what I found! They were both belly laughing and having a grand time. It seems that Harcourt's role as a parent has already been determined and Harcourt is definitely the 'Funny Guy'!

Here is my first video posting!!! With some help from Daddy, Ike went for his first swing ride on Saturday at the picnic and seemed to really have a great time which is evident from his giggles!
The season has officially begun... that is the season of picnics and outdoor events! We had a fantastic picnic gathering on Saturday afternoon with picture perfect weather, delicious food and great company. I didn't count but I think we had about 30+ adults and 15 or so kids under the age of 5! Whitney and I co-hosted the event at Jacob's Beach which proved to be a great location as we had the whole park to ourselves most of the evening and there was plenty of space for the kids to run and play which meant the parents had more fun. This will definitely be the first of many picnics this season! See slideshow of picnic photos on our Flikr site.
A few photos of the Savasna (J105) from Charleston Race Week. Not only did they win their class of 14 boats but the owner/driver Brian Keane was awarded the Charleston Race Week Cup "in recognition of the best performance of any One Design competitor". Way to go team!

Ike, Jimmie and I went to the Family Circle Cup Tennis tournament two days last week while in Charleston. Seeing Venus Williams up close and personal was quite an experience (notice the 100 mph serve sign in the back)!
A long weekend deserves a long string of photos. A couple of the guys went out to Lake Tahoe CA to get Joe Marchesi ready for his impending nuptuals. Fitton and I got a chance to see what Reno had to offer before everyone arrived, which included an offroad excursion in the rental car. This was my first chance to really enjoy some spring conditions. 65* on snow is a real treat.

Ike and I arrived in Charleston on Good Friday and we are here for our own last minute spring break! Harcourt was off in Lake Tahoe for a mens weekend in honor of Joe Marchesi's upcoming nuptial. I have now flown 6 flights solo with Ike and all in all Ike is very good but our flight from Atlanta to Charleston was one for the memory book- to make a long story short the pinnacle moment was when Ike was getting quite fussy and LOUD and then he had a coughing spell which led to projectile vomit of milk that landed all over him, me and the lady next to us! I knew it was bad when the lady was asking the stewardess if there were any empty seats so she could "give us more room" which I knew meant... get me a seat as far away from this child as possible. Unfortunately for her, the plane was full!!! As soon as the plane lifted off the ground Ike passed out and I was not far behind.
We are enjoying time with family and today we had an Easter celebration at Kenny & Elaine's house.
