This vacation has been full of warm sunshine, pool & beach time, lots of family and as much relaxation as possible with a toddler (i.e. 2.5 hr naps after swimming, beach etc). Taylor and Lillie are enjoying spending time with their cousin "baby Ike" and we love to watch them interact. Dean was in for the long weekend too and it was a real treat to have all of the family here at in Charleston.
Harcourt and I took Ike to Sullivan's Island which is where Harcourt lived through most of his college years and we both lived there while we were dating. We both love the beaches there and Ike seemed to be pleased with the gullies (baby pools of the beach).
We went on a few boat rides on Pepe's boat and Ike saw some dolphins which startled and scared him when the popped up next to the boat in the glassy waters.
Need to say more.... Ike LOVES the beach!!
