We cannot get over how much fun Ike is these days... age 2 comes with plenty of challenges but overall he has a great personality and the things he says are priceless. Easter weekend was very fun! Good Friday was the nicest weather of the weekend and we spent the morning at the airport, see Harcourt's post. Saturday was rainy and cold but we did lots of crafts including... Easter eggs of course! From the evidence below, you can see that Ike enjoyed it and given a choice of colors, he always leans to BLUE! It had been many years since I dyed Easter eggs and I forgot how permanent the dye was so when Ike wanted to use his hands I said 'sure', oops!

On Sunday morning, Ike was a little nervous about hunting for his basket in the house- "no Easter bunny" and he wouldn't come down the stairs! Harcourt had to pull out the basket and Ike's eyes lit up and a big smile came across his face. We went to Kyle & Boppy's for a little egg hunt and it was freezing cold but with a little assistance from Robert, Boppy and Daddy- all the eggs were collected (I forgot my camera!). Easter lunch was at Peter & CB's house with a good Schutz/Johnson/Fisher/Kornacki showing. Phew! It was a long weekend but a great one :-)

Harcourt's cousins Hadley and Heidi are expecting 2 days apart in September, we are so excited for more little cousins!
