ZOO time!

This post is long overdue... a serious battle with the flu has left me very behind on my blog/photo duties.  Anyway, I am better now!  On a cold Valentine's Day, Ike and I went with Amy, Paige and Luke Steffen to Providence, RI to visit our great friends Gretchen, Zac and Stephen.  We met up at the zoo and checked out all the animals... elephants, giraffes, monkeys, farm animals, penguins, flamingos and more!  Ike was very excited about seeing all the animals and the trip didn't disappoint.  We then went to Gretchen & Zac's house for a little lunch before heading back to CT.  The kids and Moms all had a great time!  Thanks Carrolla's for showing us around Providence.

This photo cracks me up because Ike ran on his own and stood next to this sign for a nice photo op- Gretchen and Amy were totally laughing.

The giraffes were inside which was kind of cool - the Valentine's Day vibe was even at the zoo, the Dad giraffe was quite affectionate :-)
